REQUIRED:
Current RN license with 3-5 years acute nursing experience
Strong knowledge of sepsis pathophysiology & management
Demonstrated experience with clinical documentation review
& management
Ability to apply clinical judgement to documentation, qualify
& payer requirements
PREFERRED:
CDI certification (CDIP, CCDS, CCDs-0) or willingness to obtain
Within a defined timeframe preferred
Sepsis abstraction or quality experience preferred
Experience with payer audits, denials or appeals
